So far this year we have attended The 30th Carole Nash Bristol Classic Motorcycle Show

The show season has taken off at a rocketing pace this year for Amal.

Taking the 30th Classic Motorcycle show at Shepton Mallet by storm, winning Best Trade Stand entry.

On display was the works bike, a 1978 Triumph Bonneville with the very fetching Craig Vetter inspired fairing, painted in the company colours of blue and yellow. The bike is not a concours example, as Mark Burnett (Commercial Director) explains, ‘We needed something to test our carbs on and be something of a show piece at the same time. The Bonny was the perfect choice, having easy access to the carbs and showing them off perfectly.’ Mark continues, ‘Whilst we try our best to keep it looking fresh, we do use the bike regularly so it’s not going to win any concours prizes, a true works bike!’

The carburetter company focused on displaying all the latest products including the revolutionary StayUp® float for concentric carbs. The float is capable of being drilled through yet continuing to remain buoyant.

Also on offer was the latest release of the Amal Carburetter Reference Catalogue now including a Pre War supplement on request. Available in a handy A5 size and packed with everything you need to help you buy your new carb or restore performance to your original, Amal continue to offer them free to a good home! (UK and Europe only, £3 elsewhere).

Next up is the ever popular International Classic Motorcycle Show at Stafford showground on 24th and 25th of April. Amal will be there with their works bike and a host of helpful advice and information. As an added bonus, advance ticket purchasers receive a discount voucher for £5.00 off any new carburetter. Come and see us at stand M45 in the main hall, tucked behind the information desk just inside the entrance.
